When you thinking about strawberries, you thinking of redness of the strawberry color itself. I am a strawberries lover and I love to put them on my breakfast menus or on my smoothie. The sweetness taste that I believe that almost everyone love and it easy to pop in your mouth.
Every year there is one strawberry farm close to our house open for public to pick your own strawberries at the farm. The strawberry season in Florida start from early December to mid March. The weather at this time of the year is very very nice in Florida, it is not hot nor not too cold.
At Sorrento, Florida
The farm we go to pick strawberry called “Oak Haven Farms & Winery”, located in Sorrento, Florida and it is only 15 minutes away from our house. They open for public to pick your own strawberries 3 days a week, Friday 12 – 5 pm, Saturday 9 am – 5 pm, and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm. Make sure you call them before you go because sometime weather change and might effect strawberry to grow or sometime the strawberries are not growing as it suppose to be nor might not enough to pick.
This farm has their own wine and you can do wine tasting there before you decide to bring one or two bottles home. They also have their own strawberry products there you can try. They have a little playground for kids to play, a tractor ride tour around the farm for kids, and they have a picnic area with charcoal grill and you can grill marshmallow or do some family activities fun there at the farm.
Strawberry Flower 
Our family go there for strawberry you pick since 2016 and we love going back every year when they open to pick in the season. It is really fun to pick your own, I can choose the best size of strawberries I want and as much as I want it. Oh, the price is also very good deal, local strawberry, and fresh right from the farm. The strawberry from this farm taste really sweet with no chemical because I saw some bees fly around while I was picking the strawberry as well. This activities is also our family fun activities on the weekend as well.
After we pick a lot of strawberries fresh from the farm, I make many homemade strawberry recipe at home. I love to eat them fresh too, they are always taste really good.
