Strawberry Sauce

After we went to pick our own strawberries at the farm and when I got back home. I start to make my own strawberry sauce. It’s really easy to make only couple of step and I get the sauce that I can use it over my pancake for breakfast instead of maple syrup or I can use it as a dipping sauce with bread sticks or cookies.

Make for 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 1 tablespoon of Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice (optional)

Preparation

  1. Added 2 cups of diced strawberries into a food processor with maple syrup and lemon juice and blend until everything smooth.
  2. In a small pot, pour the strawberry puree into the pot and added the left of diced strawberry, 1/4 cup, into the pot at medium low heat. Let it simmer for about 10 – 12 minutes.
