I made it through 27 weeks! Even though, this is my second baby and I always feel exciting and can’t wait to see my baby welcome to our house.
This pregnancy I feel totally different from the first pregnancy. My first pregnancy I have concern sickness with Hyperthyroid and low in vitamins D and mineral that also cause bleed during my first trimester. I was worrying if my baby will be born healthy entire my pregnancy. Others than that concern I do not have morning sickness that much, only a couple of time when I first realized that I pregnant. I was in a good mood at all time and I can eat anything without having nausea or vomiting.
For my second pregnancy, I had a lot of morning sickness and craved lots of food for the first trimester. I had headache at all time which I think that might be from hormone change during first trimester and feel really really tired. I can only eat limited food for example I want to eat Thai Basil Fired Rice and when I ate the first bite, I feel vomiting and have to stop eating this menu. I think maybe baby does not like spicy food but I love spicy food. I feel I cannot eat what I want to eat but I need to eat what baby want to eat instead such as apples, navel oranges, milk, or boiled eggs. It sounds very simple but that what I can eat when I feel hungry. My mood swing level was almost hit the ceiling of the chart, I would say. I was upset with everything that not on the same place that suppose to be. Well, I think at this point your partner need to understand your feeling and your hormone change during pregnancy. I always explain how I feel during this hard time and lucky that he understand because my first pregnancy I do not have this mood swing.
However, my second trimester was not bad. My energy back and my morning sickness gone and I be able to made a family trip to Italy for 2 weeks. I can eat normally as usual and less spicy some time. (^_^)Β The end of second trimester, my back bothering me and some time I feel like my pelvic bone is falling apart because of it expand to prepare labor. Moreover, I feel the Braxton Hicks which mean baby start to practice of contraction to get ready for the big day of labor or technical called false labor contraction, I will feel that I have short breath and stomach will get tight like contraction but it not that hard. At this experience, I usually use meditation breathing method to help for focus on in hale and ex hale always helps with this Braxton Hicks.
Now baby start to move around and stretch a lot inside the worm. Another active baby will be here soon, I canβt wait to see you!
My weight gain 1 pound a week π€π» cross my finger not to over weight π I have been enjoy eating a lot recently, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year…. π Long holiday!
