Healthy Waffles

A waffle is a dish made from leavened batter or dough that is cooked between two plates that are patterned to give a characteristic size, shape and surface impression.

The main ingredients of this waffles menu are flour, milk and egg. I love this recipe because easy to make plus use only at least 8 ingredients to make. It will take approximately 15 minutes to make it and you get a healthy breakfast.

Serves for 4

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Unbleached All  Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup of Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 tablespoon of Fined Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 cup of Whole Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
  • Few pieces of Fresh Strawberries

If you want to be healthier replace flour to whole wheat flour instead.

Preparation:

I used hand mixer or you can use hand whisk mixed all ingredients together until smooth and corporate. Put batter in waffle maker. After done and put on a plate, sprinkle some powdered sugar and cinnamon powder on top of waffle. Put some strawberry next to the waffle. Ready to serve!
