DIY Thank You Gifts

My baby first birthday is coming soon! Our family plan to have a princess birthday party for her and I am thinking of making homemade Lavender Milk Bath as “Thank You” gifts for our guests.

Tools you will need

Glass bottle
White thin rope
Thank You note
DIY Paper for making a little gift bag, choose any color or style you like to match with your party theme
Tissue paper, any color that match with gift bag
Ribbon for bag handle, any color that match with you paper bag color
A scissor
Glue stick
Eyelet tools

Let’s get start with the gift

We have ingredients to make Lavender Milk Bath from previous post, please follow that steps.
Then you pour mixed milk bath into the glass bottle and close with the bottle lid.
Use white thin rope with thank you note decorate at the top of the bottle gift and tie it up.

How to handcraft your own gift bag

I could not find the perfect size gift bag for my gift and I decided to create them on my own to fit with the size of my gift. I will tell you that when you are able to make your own gift bag, you can make any size you want and you can choose any color or style you want to match with your party theme. It was really easy to make them. Let’s start!

Measuring your paper size as rectangle pattern for example mine gift bag size I need is height 12 inches x width 10 inches
Fold outside-in for the top part for about 1 and ½ inches for professional look gift bag as seen on picture 2 below.
Fold side way almost half and leave ½ inch at the end of the paper to be able to add glue as seen on picture 3 below.
Then fold up from the bottom part for 2 inches to make the bottom part of the gift bag. Then glue it to close the bag as seen on pictures 4, 5 and 6 below.
After done the bag, use eyelet tool make two little holes for both sizes. Then add ribbons to make bag handle.
