Thai Style Wonton Soup

I started learn how to make this wonton soup 4 years ago when my parents came visit and my mom mention that she would love to try wonton soup if I made it for her. So, I did and she love it. This menu is known in English as “Thai Style Wonton Soup” or “เกี๊ยวน้ำ” in Thai and pronouns as “Kiao Nam”. I am a soup lover! This Wonton Soup is warm me up this winter and beginning of spring. I feel full but it is not too heavy meal.

Special Holiday Meal: Rack of Lamb with Roasted Baby Broccoli and Mashed Potato

I usually prepare this Rack of Lamb menu during holiday like Easter Sunday, 4th of July or even Christmas holidays. However, side dishes that can go well with this Rack of Lamb will be mashed potato, roasted broccoli, roasted asparagus, or saute colors bell peppers and sweet yellow onion, all can go well with this big meal.

Enjoy Shabu – Shabu Hot Pot at Home

When I am thinking to have Shabu – Shabu but I don’t want to go out. So, I decided to have home cooked Shabu – Shabu at my home instead. I would get up early in the next morning to go grocery shopping to get all ingredients for this menu. I found out that the most ingredients for this menu, I can get them at Asian grocery store for everything. At the same day I have this menu at the evening. It is more delicious when I cook and eat at home with my favorite family members.

Homemade Miso Ramen

Ramen is one of my favorite bowl! I remember when I travel to Japan, I would see ramen restaurants every corner and the restaurants always full of customers. I think it because the weather in Japan cold in winter for most of the year and maybe that is why Japanese like to eat soups and drink hot tea instead of water to warm up their body.
