Sleeping Teddy Omurice

Omurice or オムライス. This menu is fried rice with omelet. I like to be healthy, so, I put more cooked vegetable on a plate and create some stories. It’s fun thing to do when you have some free time. 

Serve for 4

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound of Fresh Chicken
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of Cooked Rice
  • 1/4 cup of Carrot, cut cube
  • 1/4 cup of Tomato, cut cube
  • 1 pound of Asparagus
  • 1 Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Parsley for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of Japanese Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Ground Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of Low Fat Milk

Preparation:

I started cook vegetable (carrot and tomatoes) first with vegetable oil and put aside. Then cooked chicken until golden brown. Then I mixed them together again. Put this fried rice aside to make teddy bear. Decorate your plate with fresh thin slice cucumbers surround circle. then on the fried pan you cooked asparagus with ground black pepper, salt, and ground garlic. Cook on medium heat for about 3 – 4 minutes. Then put cooked asparagus on another side of your plate. Now, you need to imagine what a bear looking. So, you will need a head, body, hands, and feet pieces. Then you cooked eggs and put on top of the teddy and put some parsley on top for look. Then you will get a teddy bear sleeping in a garden. *Put some tomatoes sauce and mayonnaise before eat. Yummy!
