This picture is when I decided to start selling my handmade work after I made more than a gift set for my precious unborn baby.
As I remembered, I always see my mom sit on the rolling chair and do knitting sweaters or mittens for me and my brothers to wear for winter every year when I was a little girl. I used to ask if she never get tired of do knitting and she said knitting is something fun. You are only concentrate with one thing and help you to be patient. At that time, I would not understand because I want to play with my dolls. One day, I had an idea while I was playing a doll that I would like to make a little scarf to my dolls because it was almost winter too, so, we can have matching scarf. I asked my mom if she could teach me knit a little scarf for my doll. So, my mom knitted a scarf for winter while she was teaching me as well. She thought me knit a little red scarf and it took me for a long time to finish one scarf and I made it! I love to show everyone with a happy smile on my face that I can knit a scarf and I love to wear matching scarf with my dolls. My mom was so proud and she was my first teacher who thought me to experiences other things out side the box. I fall in love doing knitting in my spare time and after that I started crochet and sew. Now, I’ll have my own child and I would love to knit some little cozy gift for him/her like my mom did.
Handmade and handcraft are something I love to do since childhood and it become my passion and inspiration of “Little Lemone”. It is also bring back memory how I and my mother are really close. We always chit chat while we were knitting our own scarfs.
Some of you might wonder why this name “Little Lemone“. “Lemone” came from two words, lemon and limone, mix together. Limone is Italian and means lemon. I love drinking lemon water while I was pregnant my first baby and lemon became my favorite fruit at that time. “Little” refer to my little baby. I put this two words together and it became Little Lemone.
