I believe healthy meal start at home and this menu taste really good and it is my first time creating this menu and my family love it. So, I would love to share the recipe with you all.
It is simply prepare and full of nutrition in this meal. This plate gives you sweet flavor from sweet potato, crunchy from crispy bacon, and healthy taste from quick boiled broccoli + sauté with diced red onion and chopped garlic.
Menu Ingredients Serving for 4
Sweet Mashed Potato Ingredients
- 6 Sweet Potato, peeled and cut inch cubes
- 2 cups of Water
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 4 tablespoons of Salted Butter
- 1/4 cup of Whole Milk, warm
- Salt and Ground Black Pepper to taste
Sweet Mashed Potato Preparation
- In a medium size pot, added water and bring to boil at high heat.
- Added sweet potato and garlic cloves, simmer for at least 30 to 45 minutes or until the sweet potato soft and ready to mash.
- Rinsed out the water and transferred the potato into a mixing bowl. Mashed all the potato until all smooth.

Broccoli Stuffing Ingredients
- 3 heads of Broccoli, quick boiled for 5 minutes
- 1/2 Red Onion, diced
- 4 cloves of Garlic, diced
- 6 slices of Bacon
- Salt and Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Sprinkle of White Sesame Seeds for garnish
Broccoli Stuffing Preparation
- In a medium cast iron pan, cooked bacon until looked golden brown then transferred the bacon to a plate with paper towel and set a side.
- Using the fat from the bacon sauté with garlic, red onion, broccoli for 5 to 8 minutes or until everything looked golden brown.
How to set serving plates?
Place good amount of mashed sweet potato on serving plate then put broccoli stuffing over the mash potato. Sprinkle white sesame seeds over the broccoli stuffing and ready to serve.
