Strawberry Yogurt Ice Cream

It’s not the first time that I make my own ice cream at home and I just loved it. This time I make strawberry yogurt ice cream. Our house doesn’t have an ice cream maker and for this ice cream recipe, I didn’t use it either. Then how I make ice cream without the ice cream maker. Let’s see, I diced fresh strawberries and froze them in the freeze over night, next morning I blend them together with yogurt and maple syrup in a food processor. Then I put them back in the freezer for at least 2 hours to let everything firm up and ready to serve.

This homemade ice cream has sour flavor from the yogurt. If you don’t like sour taste, put less yogurt. If you like sweeter taste, add more maple syrup. You can adjust it the way you want it to come out to fit your taste.
